It can be a challenge to find a good bowling alley, especially in a big city. You don't want to roll up to a sketchy bowling alley with kids in tow! Papio Bowl is by far one of the cleanest bowling alleys and safest for you and your family. We saw many other families while we were there! This would be a great spot for a date night for couples too!

Unlike many bowling alleys near us, Papio Bowl is very affordable. My husband, son, and I played three games and ended up paying $45 with shoes included! I thought it was super reasonable since some places can cost $100 per lane. 

The food and drinks were also awesome! We ordered wings and pizza, along with beer and a sangria cider. It was nice to see a gluten free option for bar drinks! I saw others ordering a pitcher of beer which would probably be a great idea if you were bowling with friends. Our total for food and drinks came out to $35! 

We had such a fun time here! It was relaxing and they were super accommodating for kids. They had little dinosaur ramps to make bowling easier and the bumpers automatically came up when it was our son's turn. I've never seen that before! You should check out their arcade games too on your way out. They have many different kinds!

​One of the best ways to see the Florida Keys is sailing! We did a two hour day cruise with Classic Harbor Line and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Our boat wasn't crowded, the sun was out, and it was fun to see the beautiful houses on the surrounding islands. 

The staff on our boat were very friendly and it didn't feel overly touristy! They offered free beverages and didn't even charge us for the bar drinks we ordered. We also brought along our six year old and he enjoyed it! Two hours was a perfect amount of time, especially if you bring kids. This is a great activity for families, couples, & adults!

Tip: Before you buy your tickets, Google promo codes for your sailing charter. I found a discount for ours almost immediately! I like retailmenot.com for promo codes.

​Sugar Shack is the best place to grab ice cream with your kids on Duval Street! It is a neon wonderland that sells countless ice cream flavors, baked goods, and candy. My son ordered the rainbow sherbet in a cone!

One of the greatest parts about this spot is their adorable outdoor patio! Their chairs actually look like ice cream cones and they have life size superheroes. They also have a huge red heart seat that reads, "I Love Sugar Shack Key West, FL" and it's such a cute photo opp! 

​The prettiest beach we visited while in the Florida Keys was at Fort Zachary State Park. You have to pay a small entry fee, but it's absolutely worth it! The views are gorgeous and the beach felt very safe. This would be a cool thing to do for adults and couples! While this park is family friendly, the waves did seem to be pretty big for our six year old. 

The beach did have picnic tables, which is nice if you bring lunch with you! I could've spent the whole day here. To drive into the park, it's $4.50 for one person and $7.00 for two. For each additional person, it's $.50. 

Tip: If you bike or walk into the park, it is cheaper to get in!

​Another ice cream spot we loved was La Michoacana Mexican Ice Cream! This is a smaller shop who also does cakes, but the variety of fun items they have is amazing. I ordered the cotton candy ice cream and it was delicious! It was pink and had marshmallows folded into it. My son picked out an ice cream bar that had blue ice cream and cookies frozen into it!

​If you need a spot to let your kids run their energy out, consider Higgs Beach. It is a public beach with a pier to walk on and a very clean park with a great view of the ocean! This was a surprise because we had no idea there was a park here. It was especially nice because they had shaded shelters to get out of the sun!

After grabbing brunch at Banana Cafe, I stumbled upon Black Rifle Coffee Company! It was kind of fun to see since I buy their cans of ice coffee pretty often. I ordered a vanilla latte and browsed around their store. Most coffee shop apparel I see is pretty lame, so I was stoked to see a lot of their clothes actually looked kinda cool. I still think about this one tank top I didn't buy, but wish I did!
