I woke up at 3am this morning and couldn't sleep. So, I scrolled through Pinterest looking at fall activities, outfits, and best places to visit in New England. That didn't make me sleepy, so I reread the last two chapters of We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han! This inspired the hit tv series, The Summer I Turned Pretty. After two hours passed, I realized I could be doing something more productive with this insomnia. That's when I thought, I should get started on writing fall blog posts. That being said, let's talk about my favorite things to do at Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch near Omaha... ticket pricesSkinny Bones Pumpkin Patch is in Blair, Nebraska. If you can take Highway 133, do it. It is beautiful, especially with the fall leaves! We all know going to the pumpkin patch can be pricey, but at the same time it's such a fun fall tradition. Tickets at Skinny Bones are $27 on the weekend in October. It is on the pricier side, but still cheaper than other pumpkin patches! To cut down on cost, consider going in late September when tickets are $21 on the weekend. You can purchase tickets here! This pumpkin patch had endless things to do, tasty food, and it didn't feel too crowded on a Sunday. I felt like it was well worth the money! tasty food optionsFood can be hit or miss at pumpkin patches. Sometimes they will serve food that you find at high school basketball games, LOL. Skinny Bones is much different. My favorite food option they had was in Emmy's Food Barn! They offer tasty items like pulled pork mac n cheese, burgers, and their famous Bone Fries. The fries are made with pulled pork, queso, green onions, and a secret sauce! I ordered the pulled pork mac n cheese and topped it with BBQ sauce. It was yummy after a hot afternoon in the sun! Food was in the $8 - $12 range and the portions were good size. things to doI was surprised, I did not expect the pumpkin patch to be this big! A few of the things our son loved to do was walking through the house of mystery, pumpkin plunge, and the frankenslide. Skinny Bones has jump pillows too, which is a great activity if you're dead tired and need a break. All you have to do is take off your kids shoes & watch them jump from afar! I also enjoyed walking through the Bakery & Exit Barn. The building smelled so good and I'm kicking myself for not checking out the treats they had! I hope this review helps you plan a fun fall day at Skinny Bones! This pumpkin patch was an awesome place to meet up with friends and I'd definitely visit again! I would consider this one of the best pumpkin patches in Nebraska!
