Best Restaurants I Ate At Near Jekyll Island, Georgia

I have nine states left to visit, but so far Georgia is one of my top three favorites! In May, my husband and I took a trip to Jekyll Island, and it was one of the coolest places I've ever been. The food we had on the island was incredible! That's why I wanted to put together a guide for you of the best restaurants we visited near Jekyll Island.

corridor z Kitchen + Cocktails

Corridor Z is located in the Village Beach Center, near The Westin. It has delicious seafood and hushpuppies! I ordered the Wild Georgia Shrimp & my husband, Trey, ordered crab. This meal was the perfect start to our beach day!

My shrimp was $20.50, which was pretty reasonable compared to other restaurants. Plus, I had leftovers too! This spot is great if you'd like to get out of the heat for lunch. You can also stop at the Jekyll Island Market after if you're needing snacks for your stay! It's a short walk from Corridor Z.

TIP: We forgot to bring beach towels on this trip. However, you can find a few souvenir shops that sell them in the same Beach Village Center!

Tribuzio's Grille

Tribuzio's is a fun place to stop after a round of golf! It's located on the same property as the Jekyll Island Golf Club, which makes it super easy to park your cart and walk over for dinner. I highly recommend going earlier than regular mealtimes. This place can get super busy!

I ordered the Shrimp Scampi here and I was in love! The portion was huge too, so I took a big to-go box of leftovers. My meal was $24, so it is on the pricier side compared to other restaurants in town!

TIP: Check their Facebook page before you visit because they often have live music and post good specials! 

24 Coastal

24 Coastal is everything you need in a beachfront restaurant: delicious food, pretty views, & friendly service. I ordered the Margherita Pizza, and it was phenomenal. The pizza was $15, but it could easily feed two people or be great for lunch the next day!

Tip: Stay at the Holiday Inn Resort and eat at 24 Coastal whenever you want! 24 Coastal is located on the Holiday Inn property and also serves guests at the pool.

hungry crab

Hungry Crab is located in Brunswick, which is like a 27-minute drive from Jekyll Island. We stopped here after we left the Jacksonville airport.  I loved how big this restaurant was! It was nicely decorated, and I loved how perfect my shrimp boil was!

I ordered the 1/2 lb. shrimp with no head for $12.99 on their lunch menu. It was just the right amount of food for me, especially because it came with a potato & corn!

TIP: If you're looking to make a few meals at your Airbnb or hotel, I'd stop at Walmart before heading to Jekyll Island. They do have a Jekyll Island Market in case you forget any necessities though.
