1. Farmer's market at college view

Guys, I love this farmer's market. First of all, it's at Union College, which is so much easier to find parking than downtown! Second, the vibe is just slow and peaceful. A few booths I like are Hunter's Honey, Bright Hope Family Farm for flowers, Capi de Tutto Pasta, and Smoking Gun Jerky! If you can go in October, the trees and flowers look incredible.

2. sit on the patio at catalyst

It's patio season folks! Enjoy an appetizer outside at Catalyst or browse their brunch menu. Our waitress was super friendly, and this place is cool because you get to seat yourself! If you are a sushi lover and want to hop to another patio next, head over to Hiro 88. It's literally right next door to this place!

3. enjoy a delicious lunch at the mettle grill

Wow. The Mettle Grill has got to be one of my new favorite lunch spots in Lincoln! It was not too crowded for lunch time, and the food was so good. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with green beans! I always have low expectations for vegetables at restaurants, but these green beans were like perfectly cooked and seasoned! My husband, Trey, ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and as you can see, it was also pretty bomb.

4. play putt putt at adventure golf center

Okay, hands down, I think this is the best mini golf place we have in Nebraska. The grounds are beautiful, they have batting cages, Tropical Sno, and the courses are like challenging, but fun! Not to mention, this is the most affordable place ever. This is particularly a great spot for a date if you're on a budget!
