You know when it's the weekend and you're just craving something new? This was that weekend. My husband, Trey, found Geno's Bar and Grill on Google and we decided to head there for a family lunch! I expected a decent meal, but I did not expect to eat some of the most delicious wings I've ever had. Let's talk about why you should visit Geno's in Northwest Omaha soon... First of all, their menu has so much character and the food is out of this world! (Photos speak for themselves) I ordered the Honey Habanero Boneless Wings and my gosh, I was kicking myself for just ordering five. Trey ordered their Smoked Pork Nachos, and they were amazing too. I did not see a kid's menu, but they have a couple kid friendly appetizers. Our son ordered the corn dogs, and it was perfect for him! For atmosphere, this spot definitely airs more on the 'bar' side of things. I'd recommend it as a great place for a date night or to catch up with a girlfriend! I'm looking forward to visiting again, especially once it's warmer because they had a pretty cool patio. Geno's Bar & Grill is reasonably priced too! Their items range from $11 to $22, which is totally worth it because every bite is YUM. As I was looking around their website after my visit, I saw their daily specials. They have some awesome stuff! On Tuesdays they offer pulled pork sandwiches with a side for $9 and on Wednesday they have a French dip with a side for $11.49. I can't wait to try those! Stay tuned! I have many new Omaha restaurants to share. I hope you guys enjoyed this review of Geno's and recommend it to all your friends. Don't forget to play a game of darts and check out their happy hour specials!
