My goal is to visit all 50 states, but I'm giving myself no deadline to do it! Georgia was state #41. I found Jekyll Island when I was searching for a pretty hotel on the beach! When I saw the numerous things to do, beautiful Spanish Moss, and golf courses, I knew Jekyll Island would be a good trip. Let's talk about Four Insanely Fun Things to Do in Jekyll Island, Georgia...  1. Golf at indian moundJekyll Island has three 18-hole golf courses. We decided to golf at Indian Mound and the course was beautiful. There were stunning lakes and trees. It was a very nice course, and we met a sweet couple who golfed alongside us! Tip: Head to Tribuzio's Grille after you finish golfing! It sits right next to the golf shop and the food is delicious. I do recommend stopping in early for lunch or dinner. This place gets crowded fast!   2. visit driftwood beachDriftwood Beach is an iconic beach you may have seen before. The beach is glittered with gorgeous & crooked old trees. It's a fun experience to duck between limbs and walk the shoreline. We visited this beach at about 9am, which was perfect because there wasn't a big crowd. Many say the sunrise here is beautiful too! This was a fun place to visit and it's a free to visit as well.  3. eat near the water at 24 coastal24 Coastal is everything you need in a beachfront restaurant: delicious food, pretty views, & friendly service. I ordered the Margherita Pizza, and it was phenomenal. The pizza was $15, but it could easily feed two people or be great for lunch the next day! Tip: Stay at the Holiday Inn Resort and eat at 24 Coastal whenever you want! 24 Coastal is located on the Holiday Inn property and also serves guests at the pool.   4. Grab a coffee at the pantryIf you're looking for the perfect coffee to sip on while exploring the island, The Pantry is your place! It is a little tricky to find, but the hunt is totally worth it. The coffee shop is located inside the Jekyll Island Club Resort. It is totally fine to visit this coffee shop even though you're not staying there. We did! After you park and are standing outside by the entrance, take a left and follow the cement path. When you see the door in the photo I have below - walk in! Walk straight across the fancy lobby until you see doors leading to an outdoor patio. Outside you will see people at tables! Walk straight on the patio until you see 'The Pantry' sign. TIP: Park in The Wharf parking lot (near the water) and walk to The Pantry. It's not a long walk, I promise! Also, order the vanilla latte, it was the bomb. ☕   We loved our time on Jekyll Island in Georgia. I will be posting many more guides soon because let's face it, this place is gorgeous, and I will not shut up about it. I hope this list helps you plan the perfect getaway on Jekyll Island!
