1. Pike Place Market 1st Ave and Pike St.
This is a have-to if you're heading to Seattle. By far, this was the coolest place. It reminded me of why traveling the US is just as important as traveling abroad. Imagine a farmers market and then imagine five more, combined. They had it all. Fresh fish, fresh flowers, fresh produce. You name it.

Tip: Visit on a weekday morning if you want to beat the crowd. 
The market is open year round, except on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sellers set up between 7 and 10am, then close down between 4 and 6pm.

2. Space Needle 400 Broad St.
I definitely should have been more excited to see this place. Beforehand, I was comparing it to the St. Louis Arch and that was a stupid move. The needle was an absolute dream compared to the arch.
If you're skipping the needle because you don't want to be touristy, go anyway. This place rocked. It's not a stay for fifteen minutes and look out some windows type of thing. It's a holy cow put me in an elegant gown because I'm underdressed for this view type of thing.
Once you're at the top, stay awhile, enjoy the view and grab a drink if you're 21. [I'm not 21 :( ]

Tip #1: Skip their parking, it's expensive. Take the monorail instead.

3. Le Panier 1902 Pike Place
I'm not gonna lie, I've pulled up this almond croissant photo at least three times since I've left. It was the best thing I've eaten in months. If you get it, get it with coffee. 
My sister got the cinnamon roll and liked that too! I hate cinnamon rolls, unless they have cream cheese frosting on them !!!

Most of the individual bakery items range from two to five dollars.

Tip: The names of the items are authentic, therefore, do your best to describe it when ordering and they won't judge you.

4. Gum Wall 1428 Post Alley 
We planned on checking this place out eventually, but we accidentally fell upon it our first night there. Like we literally were just walking to the waterfront and ran into lol. Surprisingly, I felt super gross standing by it. I literally saw a girl swing her hair INTO the wall to get a good pic. I about threw up watching. My dad tried to get me to stand close to it and I was like yeah no. 
Regardless, this is a have-to and if you feel called, leave your mark. :)

Tip: I felt a little uncomfortable in this alley, try to tag along with someone else or stay in a group.

5. Argosy Cruise 1101 Alaskan Way
We chose the hour long Harbor Cruise because that's about how long my family can sit still. If you're willing to spend more money, they have four other cruise options. Our narrator was young, hilarious, and entertaining. 
I'm not a big fan of narrated tours, but this cruise felt like the equivalent of a local friend showing me around town. It was brief and anything but boring. Plus you can move around the boat during the tour!

5. Seattle Great Wheel 1301 Alaskan Way
Before the cruise, I was determined to hop on the wheel. Yet afterwards, I felt like I saw the many views of Seattle that I wanted to see. If you're pinching for dimes, decide between the wheel or the cruise.

Tip: Save up before you go and spend money on the VIP Gondola experience. It has a glass floor, leather seats, and a stereo!
