Have you ever wanted to learn more about love from the bible, but always have trouble finding verses you haven't heard a 100 times? This post is for you girl!! Since Valentine's Day is coming up, I thought this would be a perfect month to compile a few of my favorite verses about love. I'm super excited to review these during my devos in 2022... maybe you will too! This is a great reminder when it comes to our significant others. It can be easy to come home and notice your husband cleaned the stove. Reacting instead of responding you say, "Well, that's one way to clean it." You are appreciative, but that's not what you conveyed. As we speak this verse, turn your attention to, "but the good of his neighbor." Your husband saw an opportunity to do good for his family. Go out of your way to notice how he prioritized a clean home! I love being a host for an evening. The cooking. The decorating. The deep clean your house proudly glows. What if we treated our significant other like a guest when they got home from work? Can you think of a few items your husband notices? A bed with fresh sheets. A dinner that took longer than 30 minutes. A living room that's swept AND mopped. I think a big job of ours is to encourage each other to focus on what we'll be bringing to Heaven. What can we offer the LORD? Am I proud of the relationships I've built and the way I have interacted with others? This verse inspires me to create a safe space in my marriage. Room to let each other know that maybe letting go of a friend is for the better and that living within our means will teach us more than we can see now. That was fun. I saw you guys really loved my how to build a war room post x verses to read when you're tired and hurting. I wanted to piggyback off that and give you something similar! This post challenged me to open my bible and dig out a few verses I never hear, but really resonated with. Tell me below, what kind of faith post do you want next?! Love this post and wanna save it for later? Pin it here!
