These days I'm lovin' Omaha more and more. So I figured, why not highlight this special city on my blog? Here are four of my favorite brunch places to try! Think tater tots smothered in cheese sauce, golden baked breakfast potatoes, and elevated biscuits and gravy.... early birdI was introduced to Early Bird during the start of my Bachelorette weekend. My sweet friend E. Beth recommended we stop to eat there and it was absolutely delicious. The service is friendly, the menu is fun, and when you look around, no one is having a bad time! One of my favorite things to order are their Breakfast Nachos. They're tater tots covered in cheese, bacon, salsa, eggs, and avocado crema! Truly a meal that revives you. Plus, the plate is huge, so you can the other half later for dinner. They have locations in Lincoln and Omaha, so it's pretty convenient to find one close to you! Le PeepI recently found out there are three Le Peeps in Omaha. The one we visited was in Pepperwood Village. Why is it worth your time? The food is phenomenal. I gotta say, Le Peep holds the title for my favorite biscuits and gravy to this day. The service was awesome and it'd definitely be a great spot to visit after church. I did feel a little under dressed - so throw a cute top on before you head to this one! A fun little place too if you'd like to get brunch with your girlfriends. Joe's CafeMy question is, how could you drive down Maple and not stop here? Joe's is a quirky little diner with run-of-the-mill breakfast food. Why is it worth your time? The people and the ambiance. Our waitress was very kind and we never had an empty coffee cup. It was obvious this place was crowded with regulars and employees that have been working here for years! It's a wonderful place to sit and soak in conversations with friends or with the booth across the way. bailey's breakfast & lunchBailey's Breakfast & Lunch is a precious gem of a spot nestled close to 120th and Pacific. I used to live in an apartment a couple blocks from this place, so it was always our go-to when my family came to town! You can't go wrong with anything on this menu. I really enjoy their breakfast burritos and their Bailey's Club! I'd recommend doing an early breakfast here or a late lunch. This place can get packed fast, so plan you trip if you can! Omaha is HUGE, so I know I'll be expanding this list soon! These little places warm my heart. Try them out. Also, s/o to my friend, E.Beth, who went on most of these brunch trips with me! She has the coolest photography website in the world. Check her out here. :) For more tips and inspiration, follow along on Instagram. :) *Any suggestions for breakfast places in Omaha? Diners, coffee shops, or any cool shack you can think of?
