God does crazy things. Crazy things to our heart. Crazy things to our head. Crazy things to our feet. My feet keep taking me back to North Carolina and I have no complaints. In October, I was fortunate enough to sit in the hot sand again and explore further the 200 miles of island that make up the Outer Banks. Here is a list of five good eats that I've tried and you should try too! 1. Fish Heads Bar & Grill If I ever moved to the banks and applied for a waitress gig, this would be the place. This restaurant sits right on a fishing pier in Nags Head. During our last trip, we went twice and couldn't get enough of their 15 cent happy hour shrimp. The menu is simple and the service was awesome, even when the place was packed! 2. Sunset Grille & Raw Bar They don't call it Sunset Grille for nothing. This place gives you a spectacular view of the sunset over the Currituck Sound. The food is pretty average, but the view and location in Duck makes this place worth visiting! If you want to spend some time exploring Duck before or after you eat, try walking along its famous boardwalk! 3. The Spot I'm lowkey sad because this place use to be called Logan's Ice Cream lol. On another note, what's a better beachy snack than an acai bowl? I've been dying to try one of these forever and I'm so pumped I got to do it on the banks. I ordered the small Hippie Bowl and it was delicious! 4. First Light We had no intention of finding this little breakfast and burger place in Corolla. A few hungry tummies and one open restaurant in a shopping outlet, made our choice pretty easy. Yet, holy crap, it did impress! Hands down best food AND mimosa I had on that whole trip. Get the sliders. Seriously just do it. 5. Beachside Bistro You may have already heard me rave about this place on my last post. This cute lil' bistro is on the ground floor of the Sea Ranch Resort. (Aka the coolest hotel on the banks) Anyway, this place is great because of the yummy appetizers (tuna and bommmb mild wings), fruity cocktails, and fun live music. This place will make your heart happy. I'm sure I will be back soon. *Did I miss one of your favorite places to eat on the banks? Let me know below!

It would be most helpful to put phone numbers of restaurants, etc. since this is a seasonal location and many close late Fall and open back up sometime in the Spring
