PERMANENTLY CLOSED Woah, Logan this is not "5 Free Artsy Things to do in Omaha." (If you watch my Insta stories you'll know what I'm talking about) Hold on guys, I know, and I'm deeply sorry. I want to ROCK that post for you and to do that, I need to do everything in the blog post myself. I want to help you. I want you to have the beeest time in my city. That being said, I need a week to run around Omaha and collect the best material for that list. What I do have for you today, is a BOMB list of reasons why you have to come to Dudley's Pizza and Tavern. I've been a waitress/host there a little over two years and I LOVE it. It's nestled in Aksarben Village, right next to Aksarben Cinema. Well, I won't keep you waiting any longer, here's nine reasons why you need to visit Dudley's...  1. We have killer lunch specials. I say killer because there's something for everyone, ESPECIALLY when it comes to pizza: *Pizza of the day + side salad + chocolate chip cookie @ $11 *8" pizza (with two toppings of your choice) + side salad + cookie @ $9 Our pizza of the day schedule: Monday- Chicken-Bacon-Spinach-Artichoke Tuesday- Buffalo Chicken (favvvorite) Wednesday- COMBOmaha Thursday- Uncle Dan Friday- American Steak Classic *To view what's on each signature pizza, click here. These lunch specials run Monday through Friday. If you don't care for pizza, DON'T WORRY, our full menu is offered during lunch as well. *You should come during lunch too because that's when I usually work and I'd love to see yah so ya. :)  2. We have Happy Hour EVERYDAY. Monday-Friday: 4 to 6 p.m. Friday + Saturday: 9 p.m. to close Sunday: 4 p.m. to close Happy Hour items include: FOOD- *1/2 off appetizers (excluding wings) My favorites>>> chips & queso, cheese ravioli, truffle fries, nachos (with chicken) *8" one-topping pizza for $5 My favorite>>> order BBQ as the sauce and add chicken <3 DRINKS- *Domestic draws for $3 (Coors + Bud Light) *All craft beer @ $1 off *Dudley's cocktails @ $1 off My favorite>>> Maverick Mule *Well cocktails for $3.50 *Glasses of wine for $3.50 (Moscato moscato moscatoooo) *Margaritas for $5
3. It's the place to be during UNO's hockey season. What better place to pregame than a restaurant a block away from Baxter Arena? If you're lucky, you'll catch a short performance by the UNO drumline! We don't do reservations on the weekends, because of how CROWDED we get for hockey. So come early and bring friends!  4. Hit a movie before dinner! After, bring your movie ticket into Dudley's and we'll take $3 off your medium or large pizza. Um can I get a heck yeah?! Our pizza crust is made with high quality flour and amber malted barley syrup, so that's not something you wanna pass up. This is the Stockyard, our version of a meat lover's pizza.  5. If you think you like our Happy Hour, I'm sure you'll dig our daily specials. Monday: -$5 margaritas -1/2 off nachos -$3 off medium or large Taco Timbo Tuesday: -PINT NIGHT (free glass + $1 off every refill) -$2 off tavern crust pizzas Wednesday: -Whiskey Wednesday (1/2 off jim beam, crown royal, and jameson) -$2 off burgers Thursday: (my FAAAV special day cuz WINGS eeeeeep!) -$1 off all beer -$2 off wings My favorite>>> bone-in garlic buffalo for liiiiife  6. We have live music on Thursdays. I feel like all you have to say for me is "live music" and I'm in. I don't even have to know their name. HOWEVER, I'm gonna tell you his name, because he is one of the coolest people I know. Christopher Raven has the sweetest heart and great acoustic covers. My roommate and I make it a goal to find at least one Thursday a month to make it in. Listening to his music is the best way to unwind from the week.  Credit: Christopher Raven 7. We do this little thing called, "Pizza of the Month." For February, one of our cooks, Chase Day, created the pizza. It's called, "The Chaser." When asked what inspired this recipe, he responded with, "I wanted to give the people something new. I love to mess around with ingredients and create my form of artwork." I think this idea is super cool because it gets the staff involved. It gives them a chance to experiment. On the flipside, it gives the customer a special experience. A new pizza every month means a new chance to be surprised and satisfied. It's fun for all of us. BTW...this is one of the best things I've ever eaten. TRY IT BEFORE FEBRUARY IS OVER!  8. Sundays are for bloody marys, but if you want a bloody mary and MORE, check out our Bloody Mary Bar. It includes a normal and spicy mix, a selection of cheese, sausage, olives, and shrimp. Did I mention cute, little grilled cheese squares? Those would sell me on their own.  9. My go-to favorites that I recommend to friends + customers.
