1. Parking is messy, especially on a weekend. If you see a spot right away, snag it. We thought we'd find one closer and we didn't. It's better to walk further than drive a few miles around the mountain and end up with little space to turn around! 2. Hike to the bridge, not to the top, unless you have plenty of time and are wanting to sweat. My parents hiked a few years ago and said it wasn't worth it, especially if the trail up is crowded. 3. For a good photo, pick one section of the falls as your landscape. The whole thing is beautiful, but the ones we captured on the bridge turned out much better. 4. It's free!!! So don't feel bad about grabbing some fudge as a snack on your way out. They give out free samples too if you're looking to save money for another meal!
-The falls are located 30 minutes outside of Portland -Pets ARE allowed :) -There is a restaurant in the lodge if you want to extend your stay and see another view of the falls. Here's a link if you've got more time and want a more scenic route to the falls. At the bottom of the page they give you two scenic options! www.oregon.com/attractions/multnomah_falls *Did I miss any valuable tips? *Are the falls worth to see in the winter?

Beautiful! Great tips... I'd love free fudge ;). My husband and I visited Oregon YEARS ago and loved our visit to the falls. Need to go back someday!
