I have a bad habit of ignoring wonderful things that are right in front of me. In this case, I’m talking about Omaha. So in light of that, I’m gonna do something different this month and put the city I live in under a microscope. I wanted to visit this place for a while and fortunately on New Year’s Eve I got the chance. (Yes, I know that was like six months ago.) I was driving back to my hometown when I remembered they were open until 5pm and it was quarter till 4. Big things were happening in my life at the time, so walking the grounds and doing some reflection sounded like a calm I needed. I pulled out my phone the moment I got out of the car, I couldn’t wait to take pictures. Although, my camera screen was black and I did just about everything to fix it. After that, I said “Okay God, obviously you want my attention. Right away. Right now.” From that point forward, I wandered around and did some reflection. Here are questions I thought about and asked myself >
At the end, if you want photos, try to capture spots where you did some valuable thinking. The sun was shining on this bench where I spent most of my time and I couldn’t believe it. How perfect right? ALSO, my camera started working after a half hour or so of exploring. How about that! There were a few people inside the chapel so I didn't make it in. So hopefully I'll make it back soon to check out the interior and their Saturday Mass. *They normally do Mass at 10am every Saturday.
