15701 Pacific Street in Omaha Everyone likes Italian right? If you don't, there's gotta be something wrong with you. Thought I'd share this place with you guys for the love of all things pasta. One of my friends showed me this delicious restaurant last year and since then, I can't get enough of it. It's called Vincenzo's. It's located in Southwest Omaha. There's one in the Haymarket too and from Google it looks pretty charming. The waiters here are dressed tastefully with white shirts and black ties. This would be a place you dress up for. I can promise you'll match the atmosphere. Dark paint colors. Black and white framed photographs. White light. Wine glasses. Cream linens. They also have patio seating for the warmer months! Best part? Most of their entrees come with bread and soup or salad. I always opt for the salad with their house dressing. My mom still randomly raves about this dressing! "What was that place called again?!" My favorite entree is the Chicken Franco. I would take a bath in that white wine lemon sauce. It's light, refreshing, and doesn't make you hate yourself after you eat most of the plate. The vegetables are tossed in oil and perfectly cooked. Not much of a squash girl either, but these were great. I love chicken and the breading on this thing could not have had a better crunch. Buttery. Lemony. Herby. My friend ordered The Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and that looked yummy too. Yesterday my waiter recommended his favorite, the Turkey Avocado. (Which I noticed is only on their lunch menu.) I have so much love for this place because it reminds me of Grisanti's. Ever try it? It's unfortunately closed now, but damn they had the best mac and cheese. Now I'm mourning that place all over again. :( At least Vincenzo's has similar options and an ambience that'll make you feel like you're in Pretty Woman! My ticket total was $13.10 for bread, salad, and a huge plate of angel hair and chicken. Basically two meals. My kinda dinner. *Have you been to either location? What was your experience? *What's your favorite thing on the menu? *Do you have a different favorite Italian place?
