This past week my dad, sister, and I found the world's best breakfast burrito. Okay maybe not world's best, but surely the best burrito I've ever had. We made this discovery in a tiny town called Deadwood, South Dakota. The coolest part? We didn't even have to leave our hotel to find it. Let me give you a taste of what a breakfast in Deadwood is really like... The Deadwood Mountain Grand hotel is basically tucked into the side of a mountain and was previously an old slime plant. (A place that extracts gold from slime) Read more about the hotel's history here. The Grand Grille is to the left of the casino right when you walk in the front entrance. It has a classy interior and warm paint colors that made it feel cozy. Somehow, we found ourselves eating here five times over the course of the trip. However, we all agreed their breakfast was our favorite. The host/waitress brought us waters from the start. (Always love that) Then we had their coffee as well and man that was good too. We had breakfast there three separate times, so I can confidently say it is a lovely place to start your morning. Our favorites: *Morning Breakfast Burrito (OF COURSE!) *Mini Waffles *Breakfast Trio Sliders *French Toast Important deets: *Price range- $5 to $10 (uh well worth the money cause EVERYTHING is so darn fresh) *Opens at 6:30am everyday (PERFECT for when you check out early) *They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner *The bar has a separate menu, but you can ask for the bar menu and order it in the restaurant. *Their house moscato is wonderful *During off season, you may have the whole restaurant to yourself lol Deadwood is one of the most charming mountain towns I've ever visited. If you find yourself here, whether to ski or see a concert, try The Grand Grille. As my sister said throughout our whole trip, "breakfast there is my favorite part of the day."
