Bible plans play an important role in my devotion routine. They help me dip into scripture and encourage me to work harder in my relationship with God. That being said, I've read some rockin' plans over the years on the Bible app. (It's literally called that.) So, I wanted to share my favorites with you. :) Here's Five Bible Plans That'll Kick Your Butt... *Note: You can read these on a desktop or with the app on your iPhone! :) Stop It! No More Worry by Tony Evans Duration: 7 days Don't let the name fool you, this plan is legit. It isn't your average, "Get Rid of Anxiety Now" bible plan. This plan talks about worry with a relatable and authentic approach. It dives into the kind of scripture that screams wake up call. Favorite part of this plan: "God feeds the birds yet they have no eternal value to them. But you have so much value to Him that He gave His only son to purchase your salvation and redemption from hell." 30 Days of Heartwork by Heartwork.tv Duration: 30 days When I started this plan, I was looking for major change. Something that would rock my world. Kill my selfishness. Change my heart and make me uncomfortable. If that's you, this is the plan for that! Each day, the devo is split into two sections: Heart// and Work//. The Heart// section includes a powerful message that guides you through evaluating your own heart and the change you can make. The Work// section is what includes the daily challenge. It can be anything from praying for something specific, to eating differently, to changing your normal sleeping arrangement. It will wreck your comfort zone. Prepare for that. However, you will walk out of that month with a notebook full of wisdom. Favorite part of this plan: It's different. It goes above and beyond to teach you how to live selflessly. Getting Ready for Marriage by Jim Burns + Doug Fields Duration: 7 days I like to prepare for things, whether or not they're years away. Plus, who doesn't wanna be a bomb wife? Or husband? It's fun to learn and this plan isn't SUPER specific. (Meaning I would totes read it single and get something out of it. Favorite part of this plan: I feel like when I get super close to someone I'm dating, I have the desire to say anything I'm thinking. However, that can turn into a dangerous habit. My favorite line in this plan, "A better answer is to not say everything you are thinking." Sun Stand Still by Steven Furtick Duration: 5 days If you guys don't know, this guy is the pastor for Elevation Church. He's super funny, passionate, and driven to make a difference. If you haven't watched Elevation, please do. It will change your life dude. I cried the first couple sermons I watched lol. This plan will make you think, and think, and think. As I'm writing this, I'm considering starting this plan again today lol. :) THAT GOOD GUYS. I can't even summarize the material in this plan. It's mind-blowing and covers a multitude of topics. Favorite part of this plan: This line.. "God is perfectly willing to perform the impossible in our everyday lives. If we have the audacity to ask." C.S. Lewis & the Call to Create by Called to Create Duration: 4 days I use to be a writing major, so this plan immediately caught my eye. It explores the term "creative" from a biblical standpoint and shows us how to commit our work (career) to God. Then uses C.S. Lewis's life story as an example for how we should dedicate our talents to serving His kingdom. I would definitely recommend this plan if you are tired or lost in your career lately. Favorite part in this plan: "Lewis's faith didn't change his work. It changed his relation to his work." Ah! I hope you enjoyed this post. Email me if you have a faith/travel related post you want to see. :) Also, if you've read a killer plan I didn't mention, drop it below! I'm always looking for ones to read. I'll take book suggestions too. :) I need to get reading again. *What's one thing God has taught you this year? *What's the best book you've ever read?
